Written by Admin

Dutch wildlife photographer Hannie Heere was photographing a barn owl when mid-run.
It turns out that barn owlets don’t begin flapping their wings till 7 weeks old and can make short wings at eight.

Till after that, baby owls need to utilize their legs to obtain around and work on establishing these muscles.

This specific infant owl determined to do this by going for a run, and the good news is Heere was there to capture this fantastic moment for us.

” I was laying on the ground,” Heere states to PetaPixel. “This young bird count not fly yet and was not worried. I took the picture from a range of about 5 to 6 meters [~ 16 feet]”.

The image has gained some attractiveness considering it is published online and has been used as a meme throughout numerous social media networks.

” I was extremely, extremely shocked [at just how popular the image has been],” Heere says.
